Statt von Romanen ist derzeit häufig von ‚Autofiktionen‘ die Rede, statt erfundener Welten steht die autobiographische Thematisierung des eigenen Selbst hoch im Kurs: Im Erzählen über das eigene Ich wird das Leben selbst erst konstruiert und präsentiert, gewinnt seine Bedeutung und seinen Wert – für sich und für andere. Insbesondere Fragen der Zugehörigkeit, der sozialen Herkunft, des sozialen Auf- und Abstiegs, der Sexualität und des Geschlechts spielen dabei eine große Rolle: ‚Autosoziobiographien‘ thematisieren den Klassenwechsel, Romane von Transpersonen und nicht-binären Menschen experimentieren mit neuen literarischen Formen der Ich-Thematisierung, autobiographische Texte variieren Darstellungsmöglichkeiten des eigenen, geschlechtlichen, ‚intersektionalen‘ oder ethnisch diversen Lebens. Im Seminar möchten wir einige grundlegende literarische Texte gemeinsam lesen, begleitet von der Lektüre theoretischer Texte über Autobiographie, Klassen- und Geschlechterverhältnisse.
