Die Veranstaltung richtet sich an Studierende mit qualitativen Forschungsvorhaben. Dabei können - je nach Bedarf und Interessen der Teilnehmenden - verschiedene Erhebungsformen zum Einsatz kommen: Interviews (insbesondere Experteninterviews, narrative oder problemzentrierte Interviews), auf Wunsch können auch Gruppendiskussionen und Fokusgruppen als Erhebungsmethode gewählt werden. In kleinen Forschungsteams erheben Sie eigenes Datenmaterial und setzen sich intensiv mit einer konkreten Methode der Datenauswertung auseinander: Die Auswertung von Experteninterviews erfolgt nach Meuser/Nagel (1991), narrative Interviews werden mit einem narrationsanalytischem Verfahren und problemzentrierte Interviews nach Witzel (2000) analysiert. Für die Auswertung von Fokusgruppen und Gruppendiskussionen können sowohl inhaltsanalytische wie rekonstruktive Verfahren erprobt werden. Am Ende des Seminars erfolgt ein Austausch aller Forschungsprojekte im Rahmen einer Poster-Session, wodurch die Teilnehmenden die jeweils anderen Methoden kennenlernen und so einen Überblick über die Methodenvielfalt empirischer Sozialforschung erhalten.
Es bietet sich an, diese Veranstaltung parallel bzw. in Ergänzung zur Veranstaltung Praxis der Rehabilitationsforschung (Prof. Dr. Thorsten Meyer) zu besuchen. Zum einen erhalten die Teilnehmenden dort zusätzliche Einblicke in quantitative, stärker strukturierte Herangehensweisen, zum anderen können dort Ideen für rehabilitations-/versorgungswissenschaftliche Forschungsfragestellungen gewonnen und Kontakte für den Feldzugang hergestellt werden.
