Die Einführung in die Internationalen Beziehungen organisiert sich in zwei aufeinander aufbauenden Semesterveranstaltungen. Der erste Teil (Übung I/SS) befasst sich mit den zentralen Begrifflichkeiten, Akteuren und Theorien der Internationalen Beziehungen. Schließlich sollen Perspektiven für die postnationale Konstellation internationaler Politik erarbeitet werden. In einem zweiten Teil (Übung II/WS) werden die politischen Prozesse und Strukturen der Internationalen Beziehungen im Vordergrund stehen. Exemplarisch werden die Problembereiche von Krieg und Frieden sowie von der Globalisierung und Global Governance untersucht.
