Von der "Feuerzangenbowle" bis zur Dokumentation von Konflikten in Hauptschulen: Die Schule (und das, was in ihr abläuft) ist in vielfältiger Weise zum Gegenstand filmischer Darstellungen geworden. Dabei geht es in literarischen Bearbeitungen (von Hermann Hesses "Unterm Rad" bis ... ("Club der toten Dichter") um Probleme und Konflikte in Schulen, die mal tragisch, mal optimistisch aufgelöst werden. In dokumentarischen Darstellungen (so etwa in "Sein und Haben") wird ein schulisches Bild gezeichnet, das einen Realitätsanspruch erhebt, zugleich aber auch kritische oder emphatische Intentionen vertritt.
Im Seminar wollen wir uns mit ausgewählten Filmen über Schule intensiv beschäftigen - und in konkreten Analysen nach den bildungssoziologischen bzw. schulpädagogischen Implikationen/Aussagen fragen.
