Die Thematik dieses Seminars eröffnet zwar nicht unbegrenzte, aber doch vielfältige Interpretationsspielräume: Was ist Geschichtsdidaktik? Was soll sie leisten, welchen Platz im Gefüge der Wissenschaften einnehmen? Aus der Vielfalt möglicher Themen schlage ich folgende Schwerpunkte vor:
Was sollen und was können wir heute aus der Vergangenheit lernen?
Historisches Lernen und Geschichtsbewusstsein, Lehrpläne, Richtlinien und Erlasse: Rahmenbedingungen und Planungsinstrumente des Geschichts- bzw. Gesellschaftslehreunterrichts, Fragetechnik und Gesprächsführung, Formen des Lehrervortrags und der Geschichtserzählung, Quellenarbeit und ihre Bedeutung für die Lernorganisation – traditionelle und innovative Formen, gegenständliche und audiovisuelle Medien im Geschichtsunterricht (Sach- und Bildquellen, Karten, Statistiken, Diagramme, Karikaturen, Lieder und Filme), Tafelbilder und Folien im GU
Projektorientierter Geschichtsunterricht, Unterrichtsplanung konkret.
