In der beratungswissenschaftlichen Diskussion wird immer wieder Kritik an der Beratung geübt. Diese reicht von der Psychologisierung und Individualisierung der Problemlagen Ratsuchender über die Kritik an der Entmündigung bis hin zur Beratung als "Menschen regierendes" Format. Gemeinsam ist diesen Kritiken, dass sie sich mit dem Machtcharakter von Beratung auseinandersetzen und dadurch ethische Fragen aufwerfen.
Im Seminar werden wir uns daher zunächst mit den verschiedenen machtkritischen Positionen beschäftigen und über Macht in der Beratung diskutieren. Anschließend werden die dadurch aufgeworfenen ethischen Fragen vor dem Hintergrund verschiedener Lösungsideen besprochen und in ihrer Bedeutung für beraterisches Handeln nachvollzogen.In dieser Veranstaltung findet ein Platzvergabeverfahren statt.
