In diesem Praktikum werden einfache Versuche zur Funktion von Nervenzellen, Sinnesorganen und Muskeln durchgeführt. Gleichzeitig soll ein erster Einblick in verschiedene methodische Ansätze der Neurobiologie geboten werden. Diese reichen von einfachen physiologischen Techniken bis hin zu Wahrnehmungsexperimenten am Menschen. Teile des Praktikums werden am Computer mit Hilfe von Software durchgeführt. Diese wurde am Lehrstuhl für Neurobiologie im Rahmen des vom Bundesministeriums für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) geförderten Programms "Neue Medien in der Bildung" neu entwickelt.
