This seminar focuses on researching in the foreign language classroom. It prepares you for the research projects which you will have to conduct during your Praxissemester. We'll start by idendifying various topics in and around learning and teaching English in primary school, which are worth researching. We will explore these issues with the help of video material from authentic classrooms. After that, attention will be paid to various approaches to research, including research methods, research design, research instruments, etc. You will apply your knowledge by drafting your own research project.
