Standardisierte Befragungen gehören zu den am häufigsten eingesetzten Erhebungsmethoden in den Sozialwissenschaften. Weil es so einfach aussieht, einen Fragebogen zu erstellen, werden die Voraussetzungen und die Fallstricke bei der Erstellung derartiger Messinstrumente oftmals wenig reflektiert. Im Seminar sollen zunächst die Kriterien für die Erstellung angemessener Fragebögen vermittelt und selbst erprobt werden. Der zweite Teil des Seminars dient dann der Einführung in Auswertungsstrategien von standardisierten Befragungen. Dazu wird auf das OpenSource-Programm R zurückgegriffen.
