Das Kolloquium dient der Diskussion aktueller Probleme und Forschungsarbeiten aus den Bereichen Berufsbildung, Bildungsökonomie sowie Erwachsenenbildung und richtet sich an interessierte Studierende, Wissenschaftler und Praxisvertreter. Die Veranstaltung hat inhaltlich zwei Schwerpunkte. Zum einen werden unter dem Rahmenthema "Finanzierung der Weiterbildung" ausgewählte Texte, abgeschlossene Forschungsarbeiten oder innovative Praxiskonzepte präsentiert und diskutiert. Zum anderen wird unter dem Titel Forschungswerkstatt über methodische Aspekte und Fragen des Forschungsprozesses gearbeitet. Hierzu werden aus unterschiedlichen Forschungsvorhaben (Diplom-/Examensarbeiten, Dissertationen, Drittmittelprojekte) Arbeitsstände, Forschungsskizzen und Fragestellungen vorgestellt und gemeinsam beraten. Der Veranstaltungsablauf wird in der ersten Sitzung festgelegt.
