In dieser Lehrmaterial-Werkstatt sollen nach einer grundsätzlichen Beschäftigung mit der Problematik des Landeskunde-Begriffs und mit Grundsätzen der Landeskunde-Didaktik "Landeskunde-Projekte" entwickelt werden; diese werden speziell für die seit Anfang 2005 (Zuwanderungsgesetz) laufenden 'Integrationskurse' konzipiert, die einen 30stündigen 'Orientierungskurs' (= Landeskunde) vorsehen.
Im Raum Bielefeld gibt es sehr viele Träger von 'Integrationskursen' (VHS, AWO, DRK, TANDEM, IB); um die Lernergruppen adäquat einschätzen zu können, müssen alle Teilnehmer/innen eine noch zu bestimmende Anzahl von Stunden in diesen Kursen hospitieren.
Das Seminar gliedert sich in Plenums-Phasen und Phasen obligatorischer, individueller Beratung.
Das in BA-Modul 9 verbindliche Landeskunde-Projekt zu Themen der Politik-, Kultur-, Alltags-, Wirtschaftsgeschichte Deutschlands kann hier (auch in Gruppenarbeit) entwickelt und in seinem didaktischen Teil im Plenum erprobt werden.
3 Leistungspunkte sind durch Teilnahme am Kontaktunterricht, Hospitation und Kurzpräsentation des eigenen Projekts im Plenum zu erwerben. Eine mündliche Prüfung kann abgelegt werden.
