210004 Mathematik Vorkurs (S+Ü) (WiSe 2015/2016)

Der Mathematik-Vorkurs ist in erster Linie dazu gedacht, die Studienanfängerinnen und -anfänger auf die mathematischen Anforderungen eines (Bio-)Chemiestudiums vorzubereiten. So geht es darum, die bestehenden Kenntnisse aus Mittel- und Oberstufe aufzufrischen sowie evtl. vorhandene Lücken zu schließen, um eine Basis zu schaffen, auf der die Veranstaltungen des ersten Semesters aufbauen können. Studierenden, die Probleme in Mathematik haben oder bei denen die Schulkenntnisse nicht mehr präsent sind, wird dringend empfohlen, diesen Kurs zu besuchen, um v. a. in der Basis-Vorlesung in Physikalischer Chemie sowie in der Mathematik I-Vorlesung den Anschluss zu bekommen.
Die Inhalte des Vorkurses werden im Rahmen eines Seminars (jeweils morgens) vermittelt und nachmittags durch Übungen (jeweils nachmittags) weiter vertieft. Die Veranstaltung ist so angelegt, dass für Fragen aus dem Auditorium genügend Zeit zur Verfügung steht.
Es sind folgende Themenschwerpunkte vorgesehen: Rechengesetze, Gleichungen, Funktionen, Differential- und Integralrechnung, Vektorrechnung.
