In dem Seminar wird das Konstrukt “Intelligenz” aus verschiedenen Perspektiven beleuchtet. Das Grundlagenwissen aus der Vorlesung wird aufgegriffen und an spezifischen Stellen erweitert. Dabei werden insbesondere theoretische Modelle der Intelligenz behandelt, sowie deren empirische Korrelate (z.B. Geschlecht, weitere Dimensionen der Persönlichkeit) und die Quellen interindividueller Unterschiede in Intelligenz. Die Entwicklung von Intelligenz über die Lebensspanne wird ebenso Thema sein, sowie die Zusammenhänge von Intelligenz mit Indikatoren erfolgreicher Entwicklung.
