Die Braunschweiger Hilfsklasse, die 1881 an einer Volksschule gegründet wird, spielt für das Selbstverständnis und die Entwicklung des deutschen Sonderschulsystems eine herausragende Rolle. An ihr lassen sich exemplarisch die Vorstellungen verdeutlichen, die die Sonderpädagogik über die Sonderschule, das Sonderkind und den Sonderpädagogen sowie über ihr Ver-hältnis zum Allgemeinen entwickelt, und der Prozess der Abtrennung der Sonderschule von der allgemeinen Schule veranschaulichen. Für die Veranstaltung im WS 2003/04 ist ein Listeneintrag im Raum T6- 128 erforderlich.
