Das Seminar stellt die Objektive Hermeneutik als ein prominentes Interpretationsverfahren in der rekonstruktiven Sozialforschung in Deutschland vor. Mit dem Verfahren kann jede Art von Protokollen ausgewertet werden: Interviews, Interaktionsprotokolle, Dokumente usw.
In den ersten Sitzungen sollen auf der Basis von methodologischen Texten die theoretische Grundlegung sowie prinzipielle Vorgehensweise erarbeitet werden. Im zweiten Teil soll das Verfahren gemeinsam selbst erprobt werden, wobei die Materialarten im Seminar gemeinsam abgestimmt und (eigenes) Material von den Teilnehmer_innen eingebracht werden kann.
