The purpose of the research class is to discuss issues of comparative policy analysis and governance. This includes theories of policy processes as well as concepts of institutional change and population ecology. While the research class is open for post-positive views on policy-analysis, it is mainly based on an actor-central institutionalism and framing. Students are asked for bringing in their interest on theoretical approaches in the field.
