In der Veranstaltung werden Grundkenntnisse der hispanistischen Literaturwissenschaft vermittelt. Dazu gehören zunächst grundlegende methodische Konzepte und theoretische Ansätze der Literaturwissenschaft mit ihren zentralen Fragestellungen. Mithilfe dieser Herangehensweisen werden einzelne, exemplarische Texte der spanischen Literaturgeschichte gelesen und diskutiert. Diese Lektüren dienen der Einübung der wissenschaftlichen Literaturanalyse. Sie geben den Seminarteilnehmer*innen zugleich die Gelegenheit, sich in prominente Themen der Hispanistik einzuarbeiten. Auf Modulebene verpflichtend ist die Teilnahme an dem Tutorium zur spanischen Literaturwissenschaft, das von Jeromin Rocklage geleitet wird. Das Seminar wird im kommenden Sommersemester in der Übung zur spanischen Literaturwissenschaft fortgeführt.
