Die Vorlesung führt in die Grundlagen der qualitativen Methoden empirischer Sozialforschung ein. Themenschwerpunkte sind:
- Klärung der Frage: Was ist Qualitative Forschung?
- Wissenschaftstheoretische Orientierung qualitativer Forschung
- Forschungsstile, -themen und -profile im historischen Überblick
- Die Verfahrenslogik und Gütekriterien qualitativer Sozialforschung
- Die wichtigsten methodischen Ansätze
