Strukturgleichungsmodelle kombinieren verschiedene Vorteile: Zum einen ist es möglich messfehlerbereinigt zu modellieren und zum anderen können mehrere abhängige Variablen simultan getestet werden. Mplus ist dabei hervorragend als Software im SEM-Kontext geeignet, da es die Kombination verschiedener Analyseformern (bspw. LCA, Multilevel) mit einem Programm ermöglicht. Der Workshop soll die DoktorandInnen des SFB dabei gezielt hinsichtlich ihrer Bedürfnisse und Forschungsprobleme unterstützen.
Dabei beinhaltet der Workshop folgende Themenbereiche:
Multiple Group Comparison, Mediation, Moderation, Modellmodifikation, Autoregressive und Cross-Lagged Modelle, Wachstumsmodelle, Latente Klassenanalyse (LCA), Multilevel Analyse.
Der Kurs ist im ersten Block interaktiv gestaltet, d.h. es gibt zu jedem inhaltlichen Input praktische Anwendungen. Zwischen Block I und Block II ist eine längere Zeitspanne eingeplant, in der die TeilnehmerInnen das Gelernte auf ihre eigenen Daten übertragen sollen. Im zweiten Block können dann die eigenen Forschungsergebnisse präsentiert werden.
