Der Kurs richtet sich an Anfänger ohne Vorkenntnisse.
Er startet mit einer Selbstlernphase etwa Mitte März.
Die zugelassenen Kursteilnehmer, die eine Teilnahmebestätigung zurückgesendet haben und die über noch keine Kenntnisse der arabischen Schrift verfügen, erhalten einen Zugang zum Online-Kurs Schrift des Landesspracheninstituts NRW an der Ruhr-Universität Bochum.
Im Einführungsblock vom Donnerstag, 7. April bis Samstag, 9. April, jeweils 11-17 Uhr, wird Lesen, Schreiben und Aussprache geübt sowie eine Einführung in die für die Aussprache notwendigen Regeln und grammatischen Grundlagen gegeben.
