Die Research Class „Politikwissenschaft“ richtet sich an Promovierende der Politikwissenschaft und des Arbeitsbereichs 4 „Politik und Gesellschaft“. Im Rahmen der Research Class sollen Outlines und Kapitelentwürfe vorgestellt und diskutiert werden. Darüber hinaus bietet die Research Class Gelegenheit, Probleme und Fragen im Kontext der Promotion zu thematisieren.
