„Trau keinem Gedanken, der im Sitzen kommt“ soll der Philosoph Friedrich Nietzsche gesagt haben. Im Seminar geht es allerdings nicht um Nietzsche, sondern allein um seinen angeblichen Wahlspruch.
Es sollen Texte des Soziologen Pierre Bourdieu erarbeitet und in ihrer Bedeutung für die Erziehungswissenschaft diskutiert werden. Die Diskussionen der Texte finden jedoch nicht in der Universität, sondern lustwandelnd auf Pfaden im frühlingshaften Teutoburger Wald statt. Sowohl Lektüre- als auch Pfadauswahl werden gemeinsam im Rahmen des Seminars getroffen.
Ziel des Seminars ist es zum einen, im Austausch miteinander Bourdieus Auseinandersetzungen mit Sprache, Praxis, Kultur und Akteur_in für kritisch-erziehungswissenschaftliche Fragen nach Bildung und Handlungsfähigkeit anschlussfähig zu machen. Zum anderen soll das Arrangement dieses ‚bewegten’ Seminars allen Teilnehmenden ermöglichen, mit dem eigenen Lesen und Lernen und der Veränderung von Lernräumen zu experimentieren.
Ein Semesterabschluss könnte in Form eines ausgedehnten Spaziergangs vom Herrmanns-Denkmal in Richtung Bielefeld stattfinden.
