Das Seminar beschäftigt sich mit Diagnoseverfahren in der frühen Kindheit und prüft diese im Hinblick auf ihre pädagogische Bedeutung. Einen Schwerpunkt nimmt dabei das Konzept von Emmi Pikler ein, insbesondere die diagnostische Komponente der Lóczy-Forschung. Daher setzt sich das Seminar sowohl aus theoretischen, als auch aus praktischen Komponenten zusammen. Abschließend soll geklärt werden, welche Bedeutung dies für die Erziehungsberatung hat.
