Der Übergang von der Kindertageseinrichtung zur Grundschule stellt nach wie vor ein aktuelles Forschungsthema dar. Neben der Einführung in die ressourcenorientierten Ansätze der Transition und der Resillienz thematisiert das Seminar zunächst die institutionell unterschiedlichen Perspektiven und Bedingungen sowie Übergangsszenarien in der Transitionsphase. Dabei werden sowohl die Institution Kindertageseinrichtung als auch die Institution Grundschule fokussiert. Daran anschließend werden Grundlagen der professionellen Beobachtung als die forschungsmethodische Vorgehensweise dieser Fallstudie theoretisch und anhand konkreter filmischer Beobachtungssituationen erarbeitet. Die Vorbereitung auf die anstehende Praxisphase in der Kindertageseinrichtung bzw. im Anfangsunterricht schließt das Seminar ab.
Eine enge Verknüpfung mit dem Fallstudienseminar „Resilienz: Was Kinder stärkt“ ist beabsichtigt.
