In diesem Seminar werden (in Anlehnung an das Praktikum "Genomforschung I") neuere Veröffentlichungen aus dem Bereich der Strukturellen Genomforschung besprochen. Ziel des Seminars ist die eigenständige Auseinandersetzung mit englischsprachiger Originalliteratur. Es werden unterschiedliche Darstellungsformen wissenschaftlicher Arbeiten in Fachzeitschriften vorgestellt. Textverständnis, kritische Auseinandersetzung mit den Daten und Methoden sowie deren Aufarbeitung und Präsentation werden vermittelt und bei der Erstellung eines eigenen Vortrags angewandt.
