Die Studierenden können nach dem Seminarbesuch die epidemiologischen Charakteristika (Inzidennzen, Geschlechterverteilung, Morbidität, Mortalität) von Altersfrakturen erläutern.

Die Studierenden können nach dem Seminarbesuch osteoporotische Frakturen anhand klinischer und radiologischer Diagnostik erkennen. Sie können mindestens 4 typische Lokalisationen (dist. Radius, prox. Humerus, Wirbelsäule, Becken, prox. Femur) nennen.

Die Studierenden können nach dem Seminarbesuch das Prinzip des ortho-geriarischen Komanagements und dessen Vorteile erläutern. Sie kennen die Struktur des Alterstraumazentrums.

Die Studierenden können nach dem Seminarbesuch die Besonderheiten der Prinzipien der Alterstraumatologie (frühzeitige Versorgung, definitive Versorgung, Vollbelastung, Mobilisation) nennen.
