In der Veranstaltung soll das Schlaflabor der Universität Bielefeld besucht werden. Es werden zentrale Aspekte der Schlafforschung thematisiert und Polysomnographie (die Messung von Schlaf anhand verschiedener Parameter) anhand praktischer Erfahrung verdeutlicht. Auch die Schläfrigkeitsmessung mittels Pupillographie soll selbst durchgeführt und ausgewertet werden.
