Wir gehen aktuellen Forschungsfragen auf dem Gebiet der molekularen Biotechnologie und der Signaltransduktion unter Stress in Pflanzen experimentell nach. Jede*r Teilnehmer*in wird individuell betreut und in laufende Forschungsprojekte eingebunden. Dadurch können neueste Methodenauf dem Fachgebiet schnell erlernt und ausgebaut werden. Mögliche Themengebiete sind die Charakterisierung von spezifischen Signalkomponenten unter Stress wie z.B.Transkriptionsfaktoren, Repressoren und Kinasen. Ein Schwerpunkt liegt außerdem auf der Untersuchung von Genaktivitäten unter Stress und wie sich diese in eine Stoffwechselanpassung übersetzen lassen. Als Stressformen werden Überflutung und Salzstress untersucht.
