Das Konzept der Anerkennung wird in der Sozialphilosphie bereits seit längerem intensiv theoretisiert und diskutiert. In der Erziehungswissenschaft findet die Auseinandersetzung mit diesem Konzept inzwischen ebenfalls verstärkt statt. Sozialphilosophisch kommt dem Konzept vor dem Hintergrund zunehmender gesellschaftlicher Pluralisierung große Relevanz zu, aber auch individualpsychologisch und sozialisationstheoretisch scheint es von einiger Bedeutung zu sein. Die Relevanz, die der Anerkennung unter erziehungswissenschaftlichen Gesichtspunkten zukommen könnte/sollte, gilt es indes systematisch und im Rekurs auf die allfälligen Anerkennungsdebatten erst noch zu erschließen. Dies wird im Seminar in einer intensiven Auseinandersetzung mit einschlägigen Texten unterschiedlicher Provenienz geschehen.
