Kenntnisse im Bereich der Physiologie schaffen die Voraussetzung zum Verständnis der Funktionsfähigkeit von Geweben und Organsystemen. Ein besonderes Augenmerk richtet sich hierbei auf Zusammenhänge, denen im Rahmen körperlicher Belastung eine besondere Bedeutung zukommt. So stehen die leistungsbestimmenden und leistungsbegrenzenden Faktoren sowie die Adaptionsfähigkeit der Organsysteme im Mittelpunkt des Interesses. Bei regelmäßiger Anwesenheit und Bestehen einer Klausur können Lehramtsstudierende einen Leistungsnachweis des Hauptstudiums erwerben.
Diese Veranstaltung ist als Teil des Moduls ŽSportmedizin I (TdS-2)Ž eine Pflichtveranstaltung im Kerncurriculum des BA-Studienganges.
