Diese Übung zielt auf die Erweiterung der Übersetzungskompetenz griechischer Prosatexte. Gegenstand ist Platons Dialog Gorgias, der die Rhetorik insbesondere unter dem Blickwinkel ihres ethischen Dilemmas betrachtet. Den platonischen Dialog werden wir in Auszügen lesen und übersetzen. Am Rande der Lektüre werden immer wieder auch der zeitgeschichtliche und kulturelle Hintergrund des Textes in den Blick genommen.
