Spätestens seit Gottfried Boehm 1994 den "iconic turn" ausrief, rückte der Zusammenhang von "Bild" und "Text", eine historische Konstante in Literatur und Künsten, in den Geisteswissenschaften wieder in den Mittelpunkt des Interesses.
Im Seminar wollen wir uns mit folgenden Themen beschäftigen:- Ekphrasis (die Gattung der literarischen Bildbeschreibung, anhand von Beispielen u.a. von Heinse, Goethe, Fontane)
- Ästhetische Bestimmungen des Verhältnisses der Künste (angefangen bei Lessings "Laokoon")
- Narratologische Funktionen des "Bildes" (insbesondere filmhafte Inszenierungen und Techniken)
