Im Seminar wird der Ansatz des integrativen Sprachunterrichts verfolgt. In diesem Ansatz sollen den Schülerinnen und Schülern die Bezüge zwischen den einzelnen Lernbereichen:
Mündliche Kommunikation,
Textproduktion,
Umgang mit Texten,
Reflexion über Sprache und
Rechtschreibenverdeutlicht werden.
Die Lernbereiche werden in Themen und Sachverhalte integriert, für die die Lernenden kognitive und motivationale Anknüpfungspunkte haben. In jeder Sitzung wird es schwerpunktmäßig um einen Lernbereich und die möglichen Bezüge zu den anderen Bereichen gehen.
