This class is devoted to the discussion of classic and current texts on the theory and history of capitalism. The texts will be selected in accordance with the preferences of participants.
The class is accompanied by a methods class which will take students' individual projects as a starting point and discuss methodological issues in the history and theory of capitalism from this vantage point.
The two classes are closely entwined but can also be taken separately. They will be taught either in English or in German, dependening on the participants' wishes.
