Die Übung führt in die Methoden und Theorien der Public-Policy-Forschung ein. Es werden entsprechende theoretische und konzeptionelle Texte gemeinsam mit den Studierenden erarbeitet. Im Besonderen beschäftigt sich die Veranstaltung mit der europäischen Umwelt- und Verkehrspolitik.

Aktive Teilnahme:
Regelmäßige Teilnahme und Mitarbeit, regelmäßige Textlektüre, Vorbereitung und Moderation einer Seminardiskussion
Bei Erwerb von benoteten Einzelleistungen (Referate und Hausarbeiten):
Grundsätzlich sind die Themen individuell mit dem Dozenten abzusprechen. Für alle Leistungen gelten als Bewertungskriterien: Klare Fragestellung, Klärung der Untersuchungsperspektive, angemessener Umfang wissenschaftlicher Fachliteratur, sachkundiger Inhalt, nachvollziehbarer Aufbau (Einleitung, Hauptteil, Fazit), formale wissenschaftliche Standards (Belege/Zitate, Literaturliste, Rechtschreibung und Interpunktion)
Folgende Varianten gibt es:,
Erstellung eines Referates (10minütig mit 20minütiger Debatte) mit Hand-Out (einzureichen vier Tage vor dem Referatstermin) und ca. 5-seitiger Ausarbeitung (2LP)
Erstellung einer Hausarbeit (Einreichen einer Gliederung und Fragestellung bis 15.1.2010) mit ca. 18 Seiten (2 LP)
