Die Studierenden erwerben Kenntnisse darüber, wie Gesundheit von gesellschaftlichen Bedingungen abhängt. Sie können die gesellschaftliche Konstruktion zentraler Dimensionen sozialer Ungleichheit und Diversität mithilfe der Bearbeitung von empirischen Studien in konkreten praxisrelevanten Situationen und im historischen Kontext verstehen.


Das Seminar Migration, Gesundheit und Versorgung behandelt, wie Gesundheit und Versorgung im Kontext von Migration, Flucht und Transnationalisierung zu verstehen sind. Die Studierenden vertiefen das erworbene Wissen aus dem Seminar im letzten Wintersemester und erweitern dieses im Hinblick auf globale Wanderungsbewegungen und deren Folgen für Mobilität und lmmobilität von Individuen und sozialen Gruppen.
