Im Fokus des Seminars stehen Medienpraktiken von Jugendlichen. Dabei wird Medienhandeln verstanden, als ein Forum zur Konstruktion von Geschlecht und Reproduktion von Geschlechterverhältnissen. Daraus ergibt sich die Frage, wie die Heranwachsenden in ihren Aneignungsmodi Geschlechtsidentitäten aushandeln. Um sich der Frage zu nähern, setzt sich das Seminar aus folgenden Themenbereiche zusammen:
1. Medien und Geschlecht - Ebene der Repräsenation
2. Medienhandeln als Alltagspraxis - theoretische Grundlagen
3. Medienhandeln als vergeschlechtlichte Praxis - Studien und empirische Ergebnisse

Zulassung zum Master of Arts Erziehungswissenschaft
Für die Teilnahme am Seminar ist die Bereitschaft zur Textarbeit eine notwendige Voraussetzung.

Ein Leistungsnachweis, bzw.unbenotete/benotete Einzelleistung kann über eine Hausarbeit oder eine Präsentation erstellt werden.
