Ziel dieser Veranstaltung in erster Linie die Vertiefung bereits erworbenen methodischen und statistischen Wissens. Deshalb werden wir uns zu Beginn der Veranstaltung zunächst theoretisch mit einigen inhaltlichen Aspekten der Jugendkriminaltiät ganz allgemein beschäftigt. Darauf aufbauend werden dann in kleinen Arbeitsgruppen eigene Fragestellungen und Hypothesen erarbeitet, die dann anhand aktueller empirischer Daten von den Arbeitsgruppen statistisch geprüft werden. Im letzten Teil Abschluß des Seminars werden dann die Arbeitsgruppenergebnisse präsentiert.

Lerziele und Kompetenzen
Die Studierenden vertiefen ihr Wissen über den Ablauf des wissenschaftlichen Forschungsprozesses und über statistische Auswertungsstrategien. Dadurch entwickeln sie ihre Kompetenz weiter, Fragestellungen systematisch zu erarbeiten, angemessene Auswertungsstrategien zu entwickeln und kritisch zu reflektieren.
