Das an zwei Freitagen und einem Exkursionswochenende (voraussichtlich Ende Juni) stattfindende Kompaktseminar wird von Prof. Kai Kauffmann und Prof. Wolfgang Sonne (Lehrstuhl für Architekturgeschichte an der Universität Dortmund) geleitet. Entsprechend nehmen auch Studierende der Universität Dortmund teil.
Die interdisziplinäre Veranstaltung widmet sich systematisch und historisch den Phänomenen und Problemen des Klassizismus im 20. und 21. Jahrhunderts, wobei literatur-, kunst- und architekturgeschichtliche Aspekte im Vordergrund stehen sollen. Wir studieren einschlägige Autoren (wie z.B. Rudolf Borchardt und Raoul Schrott), Bilder und Bauten.Bestandteil ist eine Exkursion zum Deutschen Literaturarchiv nach Marbach, in deren Verlauf wir auch die Staatsgalerie Stuttgart besuchen werden.
Die genauen Veranstaltungstermine werden noch mitgeteilt.

Voraussetzungen für die Teilnahme sind die persönliche Anmeldung in der Sprechstunde (Kai Kauffmann, Mittwoch 16-17 Uhr, C6-237) mit Übernahme eines mündlichen Referats.
