Duration of Course
15 weeks, 2 hours p.w. The course concentrates on economic topics, covering a wide variety of specialist vocabulary, using authentic texts, podcasts and video clips.

Teaching Format
Teaching time will be divided; half the time will be spent using materials from the course book “The Business Upper Intermediate“. The remainder of classroom time will be used for discussions of business topics, role play, case studies and presentations.
Grammar exercises will be used to review major grammar topics. Each student is expected to give a short oral presentations (using visuals e.g. powerpoint) focusing on global issues.
There will be weekly homework assignments and a recommendation of links to suitable self-study programs.

B1/B2( Common European Framework of Reference for Language= CEFR)

WiWi-Studierenden (im Kernfach), die bisher noch keinen Englischkurs belegt haben, wird vorrangig eine Teilnahme ermöglicht.
