The project seminar "Kognitive Systeme" deals with cognitive aspects of human actions in the context of the systematic human-centered design of technical systems with human-machine interaction. For this purpose, current fields of research and projects on the connection between human cognition and the evaluation of interactive technical systems are examined and familiarized with, as well as approaches for analyzing and considering the so-called ELSI (ethical, legal and social implications) and sustainability aspects in the development and use of technical systems for cognitive assistance. In addition, computer-aided methods for the measurement and automated analysis of mental representations of action sequences in human-technology interaction and in the field of sport and training are discussed and applied.
