233026 Lektüre Spätantike: Hieronymus, Vulgata, Novum Testamentum (S) (SoSe 2011)

Während einer Zeitspanne von rund 1500 Jahren war die Bibelübersetzung des Heiligen Hieronymus (ca. 347-419), die sog. Vulgata, der meist gelesene lateinische Text überhaupt. Ihr lexikalischer und syntaktischer Einfluß auf die nachfolgende lateinische Literatur kann schwerlich überschätzt werden. Das Seminar will sich daher vor allem mit den verschiedenen sprachlichen Aspekten des Vulgatalateins beschäftigen. Gegen Ende soll die Lektüre von der eindrucksvollen "Passio et Mors Domini Nostri Jesu Christi Secundum Lucam" des polnischen Komponisten Krzysztof Penderecki (1965) begleitet werden.
