Die Veranstaltung findet im hybriden Format statt, das heißt Sie können in Präsenz oder online per Zoom teilnehmen. Die Zoom-Zugangsdaten werden rechtzeitig bekannt gegeben.Die erste reguläre Sitzung findet am 22.10. statt! Einführende Informationen wie die Struktur der Veranstaltung, Zugriff auf Materialien etc. werden im Vorfeld per E-Mailverteiler kommuniziert.

In der Vorlesung "Einführung in die Forschungsmethoden der Psychologie" wird in die Grundlagen des empirisch-sozialwissenschaftlichen Forschungsprozesses eingeführt.Einleitende Themenbereiche:
- Psychologie als empirische Wissenschaft
- Aufgabe & Gegenstand (Verhalten & Erleben, ...)
- Methoden des Erkenntnisgewinns (Induktion & Deduktion)
Schritte im empirischen Forschungsprozess:
- Idee & Erkundung (Neugier, Forschungsinteresse, Recherche, ...)
- Fragestellung & Hypothesen:
- Theorie <> Hypothese
- Eigenschaften von Hypothesen
- Planung und Durchführung der Untersuchung:
- Methoden der Datengewinnung (Beobachtung, Befragung, ...)
- Variablenarten (abhänige Variablen, unabhängige Variablen, ...)
- Gütekriterien (interne & externe Validität, ...)
- Forschungsansätze (Experiment, Quasi-Experiment, Korrelative Studien)
- Untersuchungspläne (Within-Subject-Designs, Between-Subject-Designs, ...)
- Formen der Ergebnispräsentation & Grundlagen wissenschaftlichen Arbeitens
Methoden der Datenanalyse sowie die Interpretation von Forschungsergebnissen werden in der Vorlesung NICHT behandelt! Siehe dazu: Vorlesungen Statistik I & II
