Unter Heranziehung der Inhalte aus den geschichtswissenschaftlichen Seminaren beschäftigen sich die Studierenden mit
- Repräsentationen von Vergangenheit in der Alltagswelt (Lebens-, Familiengeschichte, Szenen aus der Geschichte der Schule/ des Stadtteils),
- Umgang mit den "Zeugen der Vergangenheit" (Hermeneutik),
- Geschichte als narrative Sinnbildung über Zeit (Dauer und Wandel, Fremdheit und Vertrautheit, Geschichte als erzählte Vergangenheit, Darstellung von Zeit),
- Triftigkeit als Kriterium historischer "Wahrheit".Die Studierenden lernen
- das Spektrum historischer Teildisziplinen, Methoden und Arbeitsgebiete der Geschichtswissenschaft kennen und für die Analyse historischer Entwicklungen zu nutzen,
- im Rahmen ganzheitlicher Problemstellungen die historische Perspektive zu akzentuieren,
- Themen für den Sachunterricht mit Bezug auf den Lehrplan und die Lebenswelt der Schülerinnen und Schüler zu formulieren und konkrete Planungsschritte zu skizzieren.

Studienleistung: Zusammenfassung und Bewertung ausgewählter Texte in Ergänzung des Seminars Geschichtswissenschaft oder Erkundungen unter didaktischer Fragestellungen in themenspezifischen Institutionen, die mit Kurzberichten beziehungsweise kleineren empirischen Erhebungen verbunden sind. Textarbeit und Berichte werden in schriftlicher Form abgegeben und in mündlicher Form im Seminar und/ oder in der Sprechstunde vorgestellt.
