Die Veranstaltung wird die Grundzüge politischer Systeme erörtern. Dabei wird es um Fragen des institutionellen Aufbaus und des Verhältnisses von Legislative, Exekutive und Judikative ebenso gehen wie um gesellschaftliche Strukturen und Interessenvertretung. Es soll also ein soziologischer mit einem institutionellen Zugang kombiniert werden. Dabei wird Deutschland mit Großbritannien, Frankreich und Schweden verglichen.
