Die Veranstaltung kommt einem Wunsch von Studierenden nach, die Rahmenbedingungen und -bestimmungen des sozialwissenschaftlichen Unterrichts an verschiedenen Schulformen in der Sek. I (Kl. 5-10) näher kennenzulernen. Dies geschieht auf Grundlage der jeweiligen Richtlinien und Rahmenpläne, deren Geschichte bis zur heutigen Gestaltung rekonstruiert wird. Gerade im Hinblick auf Methoden- und Inhaltsfelder sollen die verschiedenen Facetten des Fachs in NRW (Politologie, Soziologie, Wirtschaft)gemeinsam studiert und auf ihre unterrichtliche Umsetzung hin überprüft werden. Unterrichtsplanungseinheiten sollen selbst erstellt werden; hierzu werden aktuelle Schulbücher herangezogen und erprobt
