Im Praxisseminar beschäftigen wir uns in diesem Semester mit der Vermittlung von Kunst. Kunstvermittlung oder auch Kunst- bzw. Museumpädagogik umfassen unterschiedliche Praktiken und befinden sich in einem Prozess ständiger Transformation. Allgemein finden diese Begriffe Anwendung, wenn Personen über Kunst informiert werden, über diese in Kommunikation treten und auf, mit, zuweilen gegen sie (re)agieren.
Neben Lektüren zur Geschichte und Theorie werden wir praktisch arbeiten: Zum einen werden wir mit Kunstvermittler*innen aus Wissenschaft und Museum sprechen, dabei auch über Kunstvermittlung im virtuellen Raum. Zum anderen wird es die Möglichkeit geben, praktische Erfahrungen in der Kunstvermittlung mit zwei Bielefelder Institutionen zu machen: dem Museum Huelsmann sowie dem Zentrum für interdisziplinäre Forschung (ZiF). Mit dem ZiF ist die Vorbereitung und Durchführung eines Künstlergesprächs mit Clemens Krauss, dem Artist in Residence im Herbst, Ende November geplant, zu dem auch die Öffentlichkeit eingeladen sein wird.
