Dieser Kurs befasst sich mit einer Einführung in qualitative und quantitative Methoden der Sozialpolitikforschung. Für einen Überblick erfolgt zunächst eine inhaltliche Auseinandersetzung mit den wichtigsten Kernpunkten der jeweiligen Forschungsfelder, bezogen auf Erhebungsmethoden und Auswertung. Anhand dessen sollen Unterschiede herausgearbeitet werden. Im Anschluss soll anhand exemplarisch ausgewählter Studien ein vertiefender und anwendungsorientierender Blick erfolgen.
