Migration bezeichnet ein Phänomen der einmaligen, mehrmaligen oder stetigen Verlagerung des Lebensmittelpunkts; Migration kann "faktisch" erfolgen (physische Migrationserfahrungen) oder durch die familiale Geschichte und hegemoniale Zuschreibungen (symbolischer Migrationshintergrund). In jedem Fall ist Migration für die Erfahrungen und die sich in der reflexiven Auseinandersetzung mit diesen Erfahrungen ergebenden Selbst- und Weltverhältnisse von Bedeutung. Im Seminar werden empirische Studien, die explizit oder implizit auf das Verhältnis von Migrationserfahrung und/oder Migrationszuschreibung und Bildungsprozesse bezogen sind, thematisiert. Hierbei behandeln wir methodologische, methodische, thematische und begrifflich-theoretische Fragen und Probleme der Migrationsforschung in ihrer migrationspädagogischen Bedeutung und Relevanz.
