Diese Veranstaltung richtet sich an Studierende, die eine Masterarbeit im Studiengang Public Health (M.Sc.) mit einem internationalen Fokus schreiben. Dies umfasst sowohl Masterarbeiten in deutscher, wie auch englischer Sprache.
Die Teilnehmenden werden entlang des Forschungsprozesses bei der Durchführung ihres Forschungsvorhabens und der Textproduktion begleitet. Sie erhalten regelmäßiges Peer-Feedback und tauschen sich in geschützter Atmosphäre über Arbeitsstände, Probleme und mögliche Lösungsstrategien aus. Im Rahmen der Veranstaltung werden u.a. Literaturrecherchen, Ethikanträge und Datenschutzerklärungen sowie Datenerhebung und -auswertung vorbereitet. Außerdem werden die Studierenden bei der Formulierung von Fragestellungen und dem Verfassen englischsprachiger Texte unterstützt. Sie reflektieren dabei auch den Umgang mit fremdsprachigen Daten (z.B. Interviewmaterial oder Assessment-tools) und Übersetzungen.
Die Schreib- und Forschungswerkstatt befähigt Studierende Forschungsvorhaben mit einem internationalen Fokus in Public Health durchzuführen und die Ergebnisse in einer wissenschaftlichen Arbeit festzuhalten

Teilnehmende sollen ein aktuelles Forschungsprojekt, im Rahmen der Erstellung ihrer Masterarbeit durchführen. Vorausgesetzt werden Grundkenntnisse in Forschungsmethoden, die Bereitschaft zum offenen Austausch sowie Grundlagenkenntnisse zum wissenschaftlichen Schreiben
